Lady of Leisure
Hi all! I know I haven't posted on here in quite a while. Sorry about that. And not to point fingers, but neither have you, Gus and Cloney Clone ! Not much to update here. I'm just enjoying my "life of leisure" here without work or much of anything else. I've been out to dinner 2 times this week. Yum! Actually, the food wasn't THAT great ! I went to Red Lobster with my friends on Tuesday and most of them were unimpressed with their meals. I had the Shrimply Tuesday with shrimp scampi and beer-battered shrimp. Not bad, but there were too many shrimp and some of them tasted a bit too rubbery! I was also unimpressed with the 3 desserts we shared. The chocolate cake PALED in comparison with the Hershey's Chocolate Cake from Applebee's. Now THAT'S good!!
I did go to the beach yesterday, but it wasn't a very good day for it. It was mostly cloudy. The sun only made a very short appearance, and then it literally got COLD! Like I needed a sweatshirt and pants, which I didn't have! It was VERY windy, too. Not the best beach day, but it was relaxing and nice to be outdoors. I did write about 3 pages of my story in the last hour. I guess I was somewhat inspired by the ocean :-)
Besides the above, I've just been hanging. Writing, typing, watching TV, having a little Billy Petersen movie marathon . Gus and Ginger, you were right when you mentioned he had been a "pretty boy" in his younger years. He is EXTREMELY pretty in his earlier movies--YUM!! In fact, I was watching "Cousins" earlier and his is MUCH prettier than his female costar, Sean Young. Of course, it's not too heard to be prettier than she is. Harrison Ford was also prettier than her in "Blade Runner"!
Anyway, I'm still inspired and still working on my CSI story. I hope it turns out well in the end. I'll post again soon. My life of leisure will change a little next week. I'm taking a Monday to Friday class that is supposed to run from 8:30-5:30 each day. Yikes!! I know we'll get out at least a little earlier than that, but I might not be online that much until next weekend. But I WILL be working on my story. I'm going to bring it to class to work on during the boring parts! Bye for now!
