It's not the first time children have arrived from futures apparently connected to this world.

... I have no idea what I'm doing, Grissom. Sabine is doing great, and I'm back here mentally freaking out at every turn.

It's a completely new situation for you, and one you didn't even have the benefit of nine months preparation for. To be honest, if I were in your shoes, I would be anxious too.

That's... a little more reassuring.

So crazy question then. If you were in my place, what would you do?

I would take it slowly at first. Try to find common ground. And in this case, find out what influences you've already had on him. My own father inspired my interest in natural science. Maybe you've already inspired something in him.

There's some positives. Obviously something amazing happens that keeps Sabine and I together. And... well... it's kinda cool. He looks like me. I mean, like... a little version of me.
