You're KILLING me, woman! It's just too damn snuggly and lovey and real, and Nick's so strong but so not, and so's Gil, and they have no clue what they're doing but they're getting it so RIGHT, because, damn, they DESERVE that by now, SOMETHING needs to go right....

Meep! Oh, Nicky. I want to step into your story and cuddle him a lot. In lieu of that, though, I'll take Gil cuddling him. So lovely to see Gil offering the comfort that Nick needs so much, in his own Grissomish way. And I'm glad he knows that one tearful confession of a bad dream is not a full healing. It doesn't take much to make Nick cry, after all. (This is one of the things I love about him.)

Also, I know it's not Gil's style to be physically demonstrative and affectionate, and the brief hugs and handholding he's done so far are what's reasonable for his character... but I want more cuddling. Because I'm difficult that way. *g*
