Really, really enjoying this! Good characterization on Grissom and Giles, and I'm liking your minor characters. Can't wait to see what havoc this sword wreaks... *grin*

ok. I'm really loving the way you've captured the voices and personalities of these two. I LOVE the side characters (especially Marjorie) and i LOVE the description of Phillip as a Buddha-like Yenta. (I almost snorted my Mt. Dew!) Would LOVE to see more of Lavery - anyone with that much chutzpa (sp??) HAS to be fun (threatening to curse ALL the Watchers if they forced him to retire - HEE!)

Can't WAIT to see where this goes next. Between Grissom letting someone into his personal space, a Sword of Destiny (and why do i get the sinking feeling that the Vegas CSI nightshift may not be as "magic user free" as Giles thinks?), and the tension between Gil and Giles (and the promise of SMUT between them from the author ::grin::)... the story should be getting even more interesting before it's all over.

I'm glad the voices are working for you. Lavery, alas, will remain offstage. I wasn't able to negotiate an appearance (his agent was asking for too much money), but I'm rather fond of him for all that he's a tight bastard.

BTW, you really do well with the crossover elements. I've never watched so much as an episode of Buffy or Angel, but I don't feel the slightest bit confused, or inundated with information, for that matter.

I love Giles, and what a fine match he'll be for Gil. *g* Mundo intrigue with the sword and stuff. Cool.

I've noticed that Gil tends to get gaga over intelligence, so him crushing on Giles isn't *too* far out of canon. Unless you think he's perfectly straight, that is.

Sooo loving this. I especially love how Giles has a voice in my head, even though I've never heard him speak before.

I can't wait to see where this is going.
