Having been told by several friends what a wonderful actor Alan Rickman is (I know him mostly as Snape...and yes, he is very good) --one friend even referred to him as 'lovely' -- I decided to have a look at some of his other films. Talking of good actors, Timothy Spall is in a BBC film, "Mr. Harvey Lights a Candle" on TVO tonight.

You must wonder where I have been. That name doesn't register with me either. I'll have to take a look. And then I may be in for another marathon of movies.

He plays Peter Pettigrew (AKA Scabbers) in Harry Potter, was Fagin in the Oliver Twist adaptation we saw recently, the husband in Vera Drake . . . .

Yes, I just checked him out on IMDB, and of course I know the face. Now I have to look up Vera Drake ...

Just watched "Mr. Harvey Lights a Candle" and saw several familiar actors including David Bradley (Filch). I've seen him in so many things. I wouldn't call him lovely but he does have a wonderful face.
