Dean Art!!!

This one came upon me pretty spontaneously-- started this yesterday and just kept working until it was done. It's all 100% digital painting-- no pencil (I have my stages saved in case folks don't believe me). So here we have the gorgeous Jensen Ackles who plays Dean Winchester on Supernatural. I've wanted to contribute something to the fandom

yes, I know just what you mean! His lips are like, dude, what's going on there? Never would guess how are they are to capture until you try to capture them... hmm, that's giving me other ideas. :D

awww, thank you :D It took a lot of careful observation to get him to look like... well, him. Too bad I didn't have the real thing to study!

Let's see... 5 1/2 hours to do the face, (two sittings, not all in one go) and then an additional 5 to do the rest-- that souns like a lot, but that's pretty good for me!
