From the beginning...
To multi-task-- I am watching Supernatural Season 1 while I animate!
So I can be inspired for the RBB deadline! :D
I hope I can get through Season 5 before September... should be interesting to see it all the way through :D

I thought I would write my thoughts down. It's been years since I watched season one. Supernatural started out strong right off the bat.
The first two episodes were good, but I think episodes three and four they really began to figure things out, especially Dean's character. He had some great moments in "Dead in the Water". I loved his interactions with the little boy. I also felt that the story was more compelling than the other episodes on this disk, but that could just be me and my love of "family drama".
"Phantom Traveler" already shows Jensen's great comedic timing. It also begins to bring out the brotherly banter. Sam is still guarded in these episodes, which is as it should be considering his views on his family. I get the sense that he is still firmly in his "little brother" role.
Watching these reminds me just how far the characters have come come over six seasons, and how much Jensen and Jared have grown as actors. In the beginning of the series I think Jensen had the acting edge over Jared, but Jared has quickly closed the gap between them, pulling off masterful performances of his own.
I'm excited to re-watch these. It's reminding me why I fell in love with this show. Discussion? What do you guys think? Anyone want to follow along with me? I hope to watch at least one disk a day, which means it will take approximately 30 days to watch the entire series through season 5. I might be able to squeeze in two disks tomorrow, as I have the whole day off. We'll see!
