Heya, I wanted to let anyone who has commented on an old post know that I am thankful for your comments!
I don't always see them because I have a free account here and it only lets me see the last 10 comments... so if the post is buried, I probably won't see it.
I sometimes look through old story or art posts and see that there are comments, but they are so far after the fact that I feel foolish posting a reply so late. Consider this post your thank you! I'm always so happy to see a comment on a post. Makes me feel like I have friends out there. I just love to chat with others. If we ever spoke on the phone you'd have a difficult time getting me off the line!
Let me just chat for a minute about fandom. I have a lot of art ideas in me, a lot of things I'd like to try, but I have no free time. If I do any SPN art it won't be until the semester ends and probably after Christmas. I also plan to do some writing over the break.
I would love for folks to remind me of little plots or dream posts that they'd love to see written up. I have to say that SPN season 4 has sorta killed the writer in me. I don't know the S4 Winchesters yet. I feel a little bit out of my element. A lot of my plot bunnies that were hopping around pre-S4 have kind of become fat, lazy, unmotivated bunnies that no longer feel the need to be expressed. Somebody poke them with a stick!
Today, I received a review for "Circumstance". I checked out the story again and discovered that it has over 1200 reviews! That's ASTOUNDING. Thank you my Harry Potter readers. I actually began to reread the story a little bit-- found a lot of mistakes, but I also found myself smiling because I'd forgotten certain plot points of the story. A lot of the reviews ask for a sequel. I'd actually love to write it, but I've been away from HP for so long that I've lost their voices. I won't rule it out yet, but I'm afraid it'll be a while before I'm able to write anything out. I'm not even sure if there's still interest in a sequel now that the Harry Potter series has come to an end.
