(no subject)
Hello all!
I finished my second-full plantigrade fursuit. :))
It was a grey-white-black fox for W.Fox... Originally, he liked baby-blue fur or grey, but I told him grey will be better for the fox (I know that just my opinion :).) plus we can find it earlier in the internet. :P
I did little ref-sheet for him and when we got the fur... I started working on his suit. :)
First on his head, after handpaws and feetpaws, tail and last was the body... and i made my first fursuit sandals for this suit :D!
I like to show wip pictures and finished stuffs for you...:)
So first was his head.
I like using balacklava hoodie for fursuit heads... I think this is the easier-way to makeing fursuit-heads. True, the moving jaw not working on anyone and not too sensitive, and its can squish your nose! Plus I think its more hotter than full-foam heads. But I like it...^^;

Im allways starting with upper-lower jaws, after the faces and last is the forhead and ears. :) When Its finished, Im try out the moving jaws, and in this I got the lower jaw not worked right so I built that again...
After was more better... :))
Ta -da.. after I like to gluing on the nose, after tape-ing, furring.
Just for fun... :)) I like working with long fur and after trimming. I think the un-trimmed heads allways cutes and weirds a little bit :D .
I got a big-lesson... Never hurry with suit working! I did that first, and I glued wrong place his nose plus his eyes wasnt same. :/
I corrigated his eyes, but his nose just later...
I did photoshot before I glue his nose again. I was satisfied because where I glued more-fur cannot seeing where is it. I was happy because of this! :3
After started his handpaws. I used circre-drawn hand for patter, cut out and first I sew the padpaws first. (I like use leather for pawpads, and Im allways sew hands with my hands, not with sewing machine). When its done, I sew pieces together and I gluing foam inside of the fingers (not big-pieces).
And after I invert I gluing the claws.

Started the feetpaws. I dunno how you doing that, but I like to ask old-shoe because its will be more comfortable than the new ones. I think...I did the foam-work,taped this and after when I do pattersn I sew up with my hands the badpaws again...just after gluing. :) And yes, last one the gluing-claws.
The tail was the next stop... I draw this in the paper first, do little modelling stuff, and after did paper-patter for. Cut out from the fur, sew together (now with machine) and after invert I took inside little foam-piecies and white thing what took in plush-animals too (sorry I dont know the english name :/ ! )
And whet it was done, we had half-suit what we triing up and running in the house. :)

After I started the body... I dunno how others do, but Im not sewing the fur ON the dtd, I sew up together and just after dress it on. :D
And I dunno what you took inside of the dtd... I took clothes what I didnt using. (I saw earlier papers in but I dont know what is the best way)
Not easy to dressing up, but if you do it right can do it. :)
