This is what I have to say about climate change:
If you look at average global temperatures (obtained from oxygen isotope levels) over the 4.567 billion year history of Earth, it is evident that the Earth undergoes cooling and warming cycles. For the past 1.6 million years, (i.e. way back before humans evolved) we have been in a very cool period.

I know that this doesn't totally explain global warming etc, I still believe that our government should be doing more to reduce emissions, but there is essentially only so much that we can do before the natural cycle takes over.
