'Tis the Season and Whatnot
Can't believe the year is almost over. It feels like so much has happened and so little all at the same time. Alas, more on that in the week to come.
I'm more excited about finally seeing Rachel again tomorrow! It's been so long, and our schedules are so incompatible that it's hard to even arrange to Skype each other, and West Virginia is a bit of a ways away. Thank goodness her mom is still in Milwaukee, so at least she came back to the Midwest for the holidays. Jen and I are just going to head downtown Chicago tomorrow and spend most of the day hanging around. We'll need to stop by the Crate & Barrel store again so I can buy her snowflake pancake mold, so that'll be fun. I love that store so much, more than I should given my limited budget, lol. Anyway, it'll be a long day, but a fun one. I'm sooo excited, which means I have an excuse to bust out this:
