I am ill-suited for idleness.

It's been almost a year. It is far longer than I expected to ever remain here, but it is time nevertheless. I must wonder - how fare the barricades we built to defend from those invaders? Can the village be fortified further, while things are still relatively quiet?

It likely can; I doubt much work has been done on them since the invasion took place. It's just waiting for someone to take a proper lead.

I agree. I would like to see it improved upon before the next test of our strength arises, whatever it may be. I'll work on it myself if I have to.

Our losses were not as great as theirs, but it was a hard battle. I have been preoccupied since then, as well.

If it doesn't, I suppose we'll just adapt.

Aside from losses, there were many injuries and a New Feather cycle on top of it.

Adapting is part of being here, I suppose.
