HALP!
Hey guys, thanks for all the input in my last entry!
After trying a myriad of different suggestions, I decided to just reinstall my operating system. Turns out there may have been a few more issues with my computer than I thought. I figured everything would be okay after a reinstall, but now I have another big problem.
I can't log onto the internet! I checked all of my internet settings and preferences and everything looks like it's working. The airport is recognizing my wireless and I have full bars, however I can't get any internet-related application to open (Safari, AIM, and iTunes - I click them and they do one single bounce in the menu and that's it. Wtf.) Somehow I managed to update my system via System Update but I know I need more updates (I had 10.4-something before reinstalling, now I can only get up to 10.3.9).
If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate your advice. I'm typing this on my desktop computer, which is even older than my laptop rofl.
God I need a new computer. QQ
::EDIT:: After some extensive internet searching I'm still coming up empty. The Mac support/help forums were amazingly unhelpful. I've fussed with the airport settings and the router settings but I still can't get online. God this thing is a piece of shit. Or maybe I'm stupid. Or both. :
