That's good. I suppose it's gone through a few changes in my absence, but I will be over to visit at the least. And for a drink, of course.

Don't worry about it. There were a few hurdles, but nothing we couldn't clear. [That's the polite after-the-fact version, and Kagerou's a little too glad to see Grift to even remember how tough the going was for a bit there.]

I'm sure that it's running better than ever. The watering hole of a city is, after all, the very heart of it.

[Heeee's just going to ignore that 'if you're at all glad to be back' bit, because there's a reason he fell out of the cocoon swearing.]

[She kind of put two and two together, considering how he died and what he'd written to Lyle in his will. So... yeah, let's pretend she never said that.]

Oh, you know. I'm healthy as a horse! But if you mean otherwise, yes, I've been well. I suppose I'm a proper proprietor now, too, of the bar, that is. You really should come over.

[Because the rest she wants to talk about isn't really for the journals. Sphere acting wonky. All that. And it's both good and weird to see him back in the first place.]

I was asking about both, and the fact that you are well on both counts is a sight for sore eyes. [There is a guilty pause. It's wrong that she's running a business that she's far too young for, and that is his fault. He's guilty, but he can't bring himself to regret a single move he made.]
