Yesterday was 90th anniversary of the Armistice ending World War I. There are still 4 men alive today who fought in that war. I don't which is more amazing: that of the millions of men who fought in and survived the war, only FOUR remain; or that, 90 years later, there are actually FOUR such men still alive. (The youngest is 108.)
Related to that: however horrible your high school experience, imagine spending your late teen years fighting on the western front. The mean kids in the denim jackets don't seem so bad now.
