Photographers
Ah, the classic search to balance quality and expense.
Anyone recommend photographers and/or bakers/caterers that don't cost an arm and a leg? Preferably not costing any limbs, if possible. I realize the W word tends to demand a certain level of expense, but there's a budget to be considered. I'm trying to gather more info.
On the food front, I mostly just need the cake(s). Catering wise, we're probably just gonna go with snack trays, finger food and stuff that's pretty low maintenance.
Photography wise, I seem to be cursed. No one I've contacted has contacted me back. Granted, I have only contacted a handful, but so far it all reminds me of job hunting: sending out lots of letters, hoping for someone to at least acknowledge me, even if it's rejection. At least send a reply saying, "Nope" instead of never replying. Knowing the answer is no is at least an answer. Instead of, weeks later, going "Wait... my first choice hasn't responded yet. Turdmonkeys."
