A semi-regular customer came by yesterday. We don't see him every week, and he's not much of a talker, but he's familiar.
With great concern, he apologized for something he said to me when he was last in the store. He blamed things going on in his life, including being dragged to a very judgmental church. Apparently, his rudeness had haunted him, and he wanted to set it right.
The thing is: I have no clue what he said. Not a clue. I vaguely remember him mumbling something, but he's soft spoken, and I didn't hear what he said over the speakers. He seemed cross, but it didn't really strike me as vicious or aimed at me.
I told him all is forgiven, since I don't remember it anyway.
But now I just keep wondering, what on earth did he say that haunted him?
Also, yesterday, my boss and his mom theorized my sunburn on my shoulders is a second degree burn. Yaaaaaay. I can't see it, but it was hurting like hell yesterday.
