Further tales of the comic book store
Today was the day of people calling or coming into the store, wanting to sell a comic or comics they wanted to insist was in perfect condition, and was worth the best price a perfect book like that could go for. Lots of calls from people who wanted us to tell them what we'd pay for their book, sight unseen.
Ugh.
But, today also had a guy who was happy to see we had comics from the 70s, and told me to have a dynamite week.
And we got a visit from a guy who's son is in LA working on a Green Lantern movie. He's collecting Green Lantern stuff now, to understand what his son is doing.
Some people are just spiffier than others.
