Things are going alright. I´ve been running around the city trying to figure out this visa situation. It´s turning out to be more complicated and more costly than I originally had anticipated.
Anyhow, roll with the punches, right? I just wish I had a job already. I can´t really do much until I have a residency visa and my TEFL certificate. Which, of course, will take time and money. Both of which I don´t have an abundance.
Once I start working, I´m sure things will shape up. English teachers here make decent money at the better institutions, and with the certificate, it´s almost for sure that I´ll be able to find something lucrative. Once all of the paperwork mess is over and I´m working, we can finally start saving for the future.
And I hope it´s a bright one at that.
