I'm skipping class today. I'm way beyond the missing zero medical terminology classes for 20 points extra credit. I'm skipping medical ethics too. I just don't want to put up with 40 more usless comments by one STUPID girl in class who thinks she knows everything. Isn't it funny how some people just never know when to shut up even when they have no point?

I made a note to myself that I need to go skateboarding, need to take a road trip to a show and need to make an effort to play guitar more often. Listening to some Thirty Seconds to Mars helps since they're playing in Toledo, OH on March 31st and I was listening to a lot of these mp3s last spring in B-town between late-night skateboarding excursions.

My Canon A620 7 megapixel digital camera is on its way. I knew that I needed a good camera for the trip to Italy/Greece, but I also need to take new pictures of Mink, my aquaria and Lacey, the little baby blue rat that just crawled across my keyboard... This month has been rough with two of Renee's older rats, Gally and Starfish passing away and Mink getting attacked by Lain... Vet bills stack up. I'm still working full-time at Parkview though, so money isn't lacking, just time is. That brings me back to why I'm bailing on class today.

I make extremely good money at Parkview, but I've come to the realization that no matter how good I get at my job as a tech, I'll never advance until I get my bachelor's degree. It's been too easy to put school on the back burner when I'm burnt out from working so much though. So, I am dropping at least one day a pay period to another tech as soon as HR okays the change in hours. I'm keeping my eyes out for a 0.6 FTE position on evenings or nights though. I'd love to drop to part-time so I'd have more time for school, guitar, skateboarding, Fortwaynemusic.com events, Convolution shows, etc...

I just need to have some time to myself to enjoy my life instead of spending all my time either helping others with their problems professionally, being annoyed in my classes by those clueless in medical ethics or trying so hard to help the music community here when I have no time to play music myself.

Expect lots of pictures soon!
