Summary: This is the story of how Dumbledore meets, falls in love with and loses Grindelwald. Pure canon (very close anyway, if one includes book verse, JKR interview ands my own relentless extrapolation!), which means it cannot have a happy ending. All and all I hope projects the old adage that it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all.
