The philosophical discussion here is awesome - it breathes spark into what otherwise would've been a pretty ordinary evening (but then, with Albus and Gellert, every evening is an extraordinary, enchanted one! - kudos to you if you get the musical reference)

I loved this simple bit at the end - because he was flirting with everything - the person, the idea, the power...

Gellert is so endearingly BA in this.

"Death is only fear" That is such a compelling line. Thank you for writing this - it's such a brilliant and plausible look at one of Dumbledore's discussions with Gellert. This is canon, as far as I am concerned.
