the world will know what it's missing, when i go missing.
i'll spread my wings and fly
over this sky and see the sights
never was i sure how the world
would look from this heighth
i see my friends and family
all looking for a return
of something spectacular
so am i... so am i.
i just saw an angel get its wings
and i felt a warm embrace.
it makes what i've done on earth
seem so small but i know there
are those that will learn and lead.
it doesn't mean a thing
that i'm on top of the world.
and the records just start spinning
it seems as though life just stopped
on my favorite song.
so here i am...
in my wings.
