Post-Con update.

Now, I know I have been on an extended hiatus, and it is now over.

I will briefly recount the depression stuff for those who don't know. My girlfriend emo_wicca and I broke up, and I kind of started talking to another girl. Things got out of hand, and I threatened suicide. Now, I am back with emo_wicca, and things are okay.

In between that time I got a Prince Albert piercing, and it finally healed. I freaking love it. I couldn't have a better piercing. I will post pics in a later update.

Now on to the Dragon*Con update!
Thursday: The pre-reg line was fucking awful. 2 1/2 hours of waiting. emo_wicca and I got offered to go to a party that night by some Canadian ladies... too bad we got separated.

Friday: my friends: emo_wicca, kyokomurasaki, aki_san,dragondie, sprite_is_good, his boyfriend, and I went to the Nimoy/Shatner panel. It was a great start to the weekend. Later on we all went to see Emerald Rose play, they were great as usual. The girls and myself all dressed as True Blood characters. I myself was Bill. Later on I split off, and went to the Squidbillies panel. Unknown Hinson played some music, and there was a preview of a new episode, while in line, I saw Doc Hammer and freaked out a little.

Then we went to the Women of Buffy panel. Kristie Swanson, Felicia Day, Charisma Carpenter, and Julie Benz were there, and there was a mention of "Franken-Pussy". It was amazing.

To continue our Buffy overdose, we went to the Sing-Along-Blog/ Buffy Horror Music Show. Much like RHPS, but with their respective musicals. A woman behind me singing was completely off key the entire time... all in all it was fun though.

The three of us went to a True Blood panel. It was nothing other than arguing on whether the books or show is better. It was irritating.

Saturday:

We were going to be in the parade, but our bodies decided against it in favor of more sleep, so we opted to go to the consuite instead. Mmmmm donuts. After that we went to Who wants to be a supervillain. Brad and I entered and lost, but a cute little boy won. So cute. Brad was the Very Angry Hatter, and I was Dr. Kil-Gor.

A lot of people loved the PPG costumes emo_wicca, aki_san, and kyokomurasaki were wearing.

After WWtBaSV I went to the Venture Bros. panel. Doc and jacksonpublick were in full force, they showed a preview from the show and answered questions. I got to ask one, and it was cool as fuck. Though I missed the signing, it was okay with me. Just asking a question was good enough.

I forgot the rest of what we did, I think I got my Harley Quinn print that day. The artist Laurie B! signed it for me, which was cool. Later Katherine and I went home early, though we got woken up, because some people forget when MARTA stops running.

Sunday:
Katherine and I dressed up, she was Dr. Harleen Quinnzel and I was the Joker (unlike a lot of people, my hair is going to be green for a while). aki_san went as the Painted Lady from ATLA, which was really well done.

Katherine and I went to see the Mike Mignola panel, and he answered a good bit of questions. He is a cool guy.

Then we went to the SPN panel, which was spoiler filled, except the people were feeding us incorrect info on accident. The people behind us were hilarious, they knew what was happening.

Later that night, as Katherine and I were leaving the hotel, I saw Doc Hammer. He was on the ground signing stuff for people. I got the courage, and asked him to sign a Hank Venture badge for me. He put a heart on it for no reason at all. I was in awe.

Monday: NO COSTUMES!!!
This was the slow day. The only cool panel Katherine and I went to was the Icons of Horror. Pinhead, Jason, and Michael Myers were there (just the actors who played them). Katherine got her pick with the guy who played MM and she was shaking by the end of it.

I then went to give blood. I got my shirt, got in line, sat in the chair, only to find I couldn't (I didn't have my inhaler on my). I was mad as hell. So I met Katherine at the Dealer's room. I only had a dollar to my name, so we just went to the other side. While there we saw Ryan Sohmer of LICD, and I flipped. Katherine was going to buy me a skin for my iPhone, and I was excited. One problem: her cards wouldn't go through, something to do with Canadian banks or something. He then told me to take it and leave, and that if I ever stop reading LICD, he will come kill me. Awesome!

That was my update, and pics can be seen at kyokomurasaki's page.
