Remember the day of yore when you'd spend all day working on a single piece of art - fretting and fussing over every nuance, working those crayons down to the last nub? And upon completion your masterpiece would receive a place of honor on the house gallery - the refrigerator door. There it would sit for the whole world to see, pinned to the laminate surface with whatever spare magnet could be found.
So here's my recent work on display for you, the audience, come to steal a sip of milk straight from the jug - minus the letter magnets on each corner of the page. This is not something you'd show your kiddos, though, so I've LJ-Cut it for censorship's sake.
This is Cauree, one of my favorite characters from my little world Wayland. She's found her way into just about every adventure Sil & I have played in the past few years, though she usually wears more than this.
I've tinkered around in PhotoShop before over the years but never turned out anything this complete. I'm geeked over it despite my getting fed up with it towards the end. I might end up re-doing the whole coloration as I get better with PS. I also need to go back and do some kind of suitable background when I have the patience (like that'll happen).
