The Man in the Box
The office prank wars continue and thus far I'm in the lead. I've had some good suggestions from friends and family, but finally opted to do the ole' Man in the Box trick. Since the majority of our office is centered in a cubefarm, this trick is particularly simple and effective.
The cubes are modular which means we can take walls apart and add on to 'em bit by bit, kinda like a big Erector set. I swiped a few parts from an empty cube down the hall and completely sealed off my rival's cube from access. I then placed a note on the wall that reads PLEASE USE ALTERNATE ENTRANCE.
To add insult to injury, I procured a little toy called a Weasel Ball. This is a mechanical ball that has a furry tail-thing attached to it. When activated, it tumbles around and looks alive (if you are 90% blind, that is). I slapped the wee bugger in a box and dropped him over the side of the cube. Now it sounds as though something's IN THERE.
The best part about all of this was that, while performing this nefarious deed, I was caught by the company president. He asked what I was doing and after explaining honestly, he opted to help me out with moving the parts. What a prince of a fellow!
