Generally I don't cancel things just because I'm sick. I trudge through them, and carry on as if nothing was wrong. I've been trudging through this illness for 5 days, and it's gotten worse. I canceled UFC fight night tonight, probably to resume on Sunday. But on to the matter at hand, the final episode of Real world: Austin.
CheesyWhite_Pimp tells gloats to some of the girls that he had sexual relations with Wren. Set them up....
HottyMcFlirterson is asked by Beat_ass to move back to Boston with him, she agrees. Practically pouncing on the sentence as soon as it escapes his lips. Nice.
Then ArmyChick has this great idea that they should all go out and drink & "have dinner." This is an excellent idea because of how in control, rational, easy going, and non-violent this group is when it's drunk. Some people call this "the rising action", it's the part of the story where you don't "Knock'em down" almost as soon as you "set them up." It requires either some degree of forethought, or a reckless disregard for the future. Sometimes this is also called foreshadowing.
Wren confronts CheesyWhitePimp (Wess). Apparently she didn't want everyone to know he "totally tapped that ass". I'm not sure that exact phrase was ever used, but it was in my head and that's good enough for me. Wess does the natural thing and gets mad. Obviously he didn't want Wren to know that he had sex with her, so did the logical thing and told all his friends he had. One of these "friends" took that conversation and told BirdGirl (what kind of name is Wren anyway?) out of confidence. In both interpretations of that phrase.
CheesyWhitePimp's deductive logic tells him it must have been Rachel. Sadly ArmyGirl was a girl surrounded by men who want to fuck her for a number of years. They obviously let her get away with a lot, probably not only because they wanted to fuck her but because they would get in trouble with their superiors as well if they brought her back into line. CheesyWhitePimp & YoungBlack_dude have no such illusions. Obliviously she trudges on, just as the training told her to. She eggs CheesyWhitePimp on and on then some how she involves YoungBlack_dude, she is not accustomed to men giving back as good or better than she gives. She loses it, and starts clawing at YoungBlack_dude and yells "Come on! Then hit me [YoungBlack_dude]!" I don't think she actually draws blood, but if she did it's little more than a trickle. Some how YoungBlack_dude manages not to punch her in the face, despite being a violent drunk. Beat_ass pulls her off him.
CheesyWhitePimp: SHUT *bleep**bleep* UP! *bleep**bleep**bleep**bleep*
ArmyGirl: Come fight me you *muffled as Beat_ass violently changes her directional facing*
YoungBlack_dude: Put your hands on me bitch!
*unintelligble Cursing*
YoungBlack_dude: Put your hands on me bitch!
HottyMcFlirterson: Stop it!
*yelling, cursing, et cetera*
YoungBlack_dude: Put your hands on me bitch! (ArmyGirl starts to cry.)Put your fucking hands on me bitch and I'll fucking kill you!
Armychick: *Wails and crys*
-Commercial-
HottyMcFlirterson: Stop it please! *starts crying*
YoungBlack_dude: DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME AGAIN!
CheesyWhitePimp: *various curses and unintelligible yelling possibly involving the phrase "That's what fucking happens!"*
HottyMcFlirterson: What is wrong with you?
Beat_ass: Seriously guys, just go, it's done!
ArmyChick: *Unintelligible wailing and crying involving, "How can they do this?"*
(No one offers, "Because you egged them on, you crazy bitch, attacked them and then invited them to respond like-wise with phrases such as "Well then hit me." And you are seriously lucky they didn't.")
-cut-
Youngblack_dude points to what are probably scratches on his left arm, Beat_ass counters with the wrought iron defence: But she's a girl dude! She's a fucking girl!
As if girls should somehow be absolved of all wrong doing merely because of gender.
Johanna: (to ArmyChick) Look at me. Get yourself together . . . so stop crying, get yourself together, you look like a fucking idiot Ok?
I thought they taught personal responsibility in the Army. Apparently the girls don't get that training. How did this ever happen? The phone call to her boyfriend ArmyBoy reveals it pretty well. He basically tells her that she's right, everyone else is wrong, and there must have been some horrible conspiracy of circumstance to make it seem the other way.
ArmyChick vows to never associate with people like YoungBlack_dude & CheesyWhitePimp again. This is probably for the best. She needs the comfort of her personal menagerie of placation and delusional support.
Perhaps me and the Law of the land are alone on this, but I feel that when you are assaulted by someone you are allowed to defend yourself by whatever means necessary. The Law doesn't say anything about a gender requirement.
One of these days she's going to catch a beating that she deserves and is going to wonder how the world ever came to be this fucked up. On that day, I would like to tell her "The world has always been this fucked up, because people like you fuck it up. You are not special. The fact that you've avoided far more violence, anger, and hatred directed at you than you've pumped into the world is a factor of luck. You are not special. Now go back to you're delusionalally reinforced reality, and for god's sake, learn something, shut the fuck up, or kill yourself."
