i made a top of the line computer on newegg a couple years ago and it was 600-700 dollars.
i made a computer today that was not at all close to top of the line, and in most respects only slightly better than the one i made a few years ago and it costs 1300 dollars.
i have no fucking clue what happened with the price of computer parts, but they are outrageously expensive now.
