The school's DSLR was stolen from my office.
I couldn't even react to the loss anymore. It's just ... indescribable, insurmountable, unthinkable. In MP, my place was in a common area, and I never lost something that was office property that was of sheer value. This time around, I had my own room, and I lost a freaking DSLR. And to think - my phone, wallet and iPod were all on my desk (for public display even!) but whoever took the camera got it from the floor near my desk, and only took that one thing and left the other valuable items.
The whole operation had one target. Unbelievable.
I had to go to the police station, blotter the incident, had myself bombarded with questions ... the whole experience was just gadawful.
To think that I'm even planning on buying my own DSLR. Well, with the way the investigation's going, I'd have to be realistic and reconsider the idea for probably the next year.

On to brighter things.
I'm in DLSU. This is the second time this week; first was Tuesday, when I had that DSLR with me (oh my gosh, and everytime I think of it I really want to cry) and took pictures galore of sights that I missed in school.
Hay. Okay, I said brighter things
I'm here to layout the program of the investiture of THE Brother President. It's actually quite surreal, that last year I submitted my resume to this very office but didn't get considered (it's an entry level job, hahaha. At that point I was desperate to get out).
The thing about this project is that ... I know NOTHING about layouting using Adobe InDesign. Quite frankly, I've never layouted something for a publication with PAGES. I usually ask someone to do it for me (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!).
In everything, there is a first time. Like theft of office equipment in which you're accountable. Ugh damn.
I've been reading some noob guidelines on how to layout using Adobe InDesign, so hopefully when the artist arrives I don't make a fool out of myself. Of course, I'll have to make a disclaimer that I have not used InDesign, nor its predecessor Pagemaker EVER.
Oh well, papel. At least I'm close to home now.

I received a message in FB from a former officemate. Wafu Ops Manager (yes, OMG after six months he asks for me! It must be love!) is asking my number from him. He's going to be back from Japan on the last week of June.
I'm wondering aloud, why he wants my number. If he does text me prior to end week of June, I'll let him say his pleasantries first, and if ever he asks "Do you want something from here?" I'll say "YES!!!!" and give him my laundry list XDDDD.
On the other hand, former officemate also thinks that this may be something promising - career-related, specifically. And I jokingly told him "If he's going to ask me to go to Japan, the answer will be YES AND AMEN!!!!!!" Hahahahaha! Jokes are half-meant though. However, going back to reality, my Japanese is nowhere close to 4-kyuu, so I'll likely fail there. But as long as I have Wafu Ops Buchou who is ZOMG 1-KYUU I think I can survive, more or less. XD
OMG POCKY.
