Carve the greatest Fairy Tale into history; a shocking giant reversal, settle it with splendor

Okay! Let's try this again, shall we?

I PLAYED THIS AS A KID. I think I was either in Kinder 2 going on Prep. I never finished it; I got scared of the spikes more than fighting with enemies. I got even more scared when jumping. Those accursed traps made it even more challenging ... ugh! But I do remember Papa going all the way to the boss, and Aldo was so excited that he was screaming "Save it, save it!" because he had to go potty and he wanted to see the boss defeated before his very eyes.

Prince of Persia was a good movie. Better than Clash of the Titans (which was, on almost all counts a massive fail!movie), slightly better than Iron Man (and I say slightly, because I have this teeny crush on Robert Downey Jr.) It certainly did well because of the people backing up the project (i.e. Jerry Bruckheimer).

If you're going to watch the movie and you haven't played the game/s at all, you may think all the acrobatics are exaggerated. As someone who has played the original and has witnessed gameplay for The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, the movie was very true to the moves done by the Prince in the games. You could imagine our threesome (siblings) becoming giddy in our seats as we saw the moves. XD

After the movie and while the credits were rolling, we discussed amongst ourselves:

Me: Feeling ko naka-Milo everyday si Prince Dastan. Hayup sa acrobatics eh.
Aldo: Hindi, naka-whey protein!
Me: *facepalm*

I stick to the Milo. I've always been an Ovaltine kid though. XD

Yesterday, I had a first look at my picture in the Integrated School yearbook. I cringed at the sight of it. The person smiling in the photograph wasn't me at all. (If you're a friend in FB, you saw that pic). I didn't even bother posting it on Tumblr. I found it awful.

And so, I go to the topic of GPOY (Gratuitous Picture of Yourself).

Hindi sa nagbubuhat ako ng sariling bangko, but most of the time I find the pictures that I take of myself to show the real me more. Not everyone who takes my pictures can take a picture of me. Is this making sense?

Consider this - I know which angle I look best. I know what angle I should tilt my camera in order to get a good shot of myself. It's not the same when you tell someone to take a picture of you; oftentimes I end up being disappointed, or in order to make amends, I spend more time editing in Photoshop.

Amongst us siblings, which extends to cousins (more prevalent on Papa's side), we love GPOYs. We love taking pictures of ourselves, and I think it's because of the same reason - no one can capture us on camera better than ourselves.

The yearbook picture of me was too prim and proper. I never considered myself to be prim; proper, getting there (LOL). To make matters worse, they Photoshopped it too much for my taste! I only PP my pics to create effects, and don't really try to elongate my nose, or make my eyes bigger, my hair longer, my face whiter, etc etc.

When my friends on FB saw it, they didn't see anything wrong with it - they liked it, in fact. But I wasn't comfortable with the picture at all. It's like an evil twin staring at me, smiling that template smile. Yeeeesssh. Just the mere thought of it gives me goosebumps.

So, I finally found a better replacement. LOL.

Unscheduled parlor day is this weekend's major splurge!

I want my hair permed. Mama did not approve (even if I'm spending for it). I guess there's something about straight hair, huh?

Aftermath of that 4-hour sitting is the first picture you'll see in my Tumblr now. XD

I AM LOOKING FOR KANGTA PICTURES LIKE CRAZY.

There's even this pic of him in his Cyworld minihompi that fans are speculating was taken in Red Mango. LOL Kangta going to Red Mango? (OMG pun intended bwahahahahahahahah!)

But here's something interesting from Soompi. There was a survey done from March to April on who was Korea's top 10 gorgeous men and women, and your lolo ranked number freaking EIGHT!

1. 장근석 - Jang Geun Suk
2. 바재범 - Park Jaebum
3. 이승기 Lee Seun Gi
4. 김현중 - Kim Hyun Joong
5. 송승헌 Song Seung Hun
6. 이민호 - Lee Min Ho
7. 민경훈 - Min Kyung Hoon
8. 강타 - Kangta
9. 윤시은 -
10. 이준기 - Lee Jun Ki

Given that he's had a handicap of being away for two years, this is really something! So grow your freaking hair and make a lot of music, biatch!

LOL. In the two years that passed since he went to the military and eventually came back, my fangirling ways didn't change at all. XD

randomness, movies, fangirling, the kangta tag, reviews, pictures
