--- that was my high school classmate's status message in FB when the rains came last week.
Anyway, it was raining here early morning, and I'm not complaining! Now the sun is up, but at least we had a bit of respite from the heat.
It's strange that I didn't notice that it was raining until I came out of my room. Back in Manila, I would have had caught a hint that it's drizzling outside as soon as I woke up, and probably that's because of the water hitting the pavement. Here, water hits soil. Soil absorbs. But there should at least be some sort of sound coming from the roof.
[EDIT] It wasn't actually rain - it was a mist. The raindrops were so tiny that when they fell the didn't make much of a sound.
Interesting, to say the least.
