Poof! goes the weekend

I'm back in Laguna.

The weekend however, was jampacked with activities. I came back to Manila late Friday afternoon (but really early, like I arrived at 4:30). Then, I practiced for Sunday and had my first and last choir practice for the special number yesterday. They were supposed to assign me to bass (SAY WHUT?!) - the choir director (who's also my voice teacher) said I could do it. I tried it in one round, but this one note was too low (well, almost all the notes were darn low anyway). So, because of that one note, I ended up in comfort zone soprano.

Saturday was the long-awaited Trinoma gimik. I was supposed to buy something at Team Manila but the shirts, in my opinion, was too darn expensive. Family plus extended father's side family went to Red Box. Lots of screaming followed.

Sunday was, well, Mama's birthday. Was up at 5 AM to make it to the 6:45 call time, then sang for two services both lineup and one-time-big-time practiced special number. Then, lunch at Chili's, bought Mama's birthday gift, finished chores, then blessed home. XD

I finished what was left of the CSI:NY Season 6 DVD the whole night. Oh, and the raw of Dragonball Kai Episode 46 too. I couldn't wait.

It was drizzling here awhile ago. Wind was also a bit on the cool side too. That makes me happy. Right now I think the sun is out. Hmmmm ...

Oh, here's something interesting to talk about.

The LOLTYMZ of the Pacquiao-Clottey fight. I was watching in the bus ride going to Laguna and I couldn't help but LOL. Here's why.

1. Clottey dancing while making his entrance. WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT? I thought Manny was going to sing his way to the ring. But going back to Clottey, WHAT WAS THAT?!
2. That pudgy PH flag carrier dancing with Clottey on the ring, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! I wanted to LOL in the bus.
3. (Last, but most LOLworthy) Pacquiao's clap punch. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

On a serious note, it was a boring match. Clottey fought to survive, period. He didn't fight to win. Wasn't much of an event at all, and that's ironic, since the match was called The Event. Blah.

randomness, church, family, gimik
