It's like having trisem break all over again. It makes me giddy, this whole paid vacation business. Bwahahhahahaa.
I'm made to believe that this will be my schedule for the first week of my Christmas break:
December 21
Watch Avatar with the brothers
Look for Tatay's book (An Anarchy of Families)
December 22
Parlor day
Choir practice
Caroling @ Magallanes
December 23
Voice lesson
(I'm guessing) Candlelight Service practice
Choir @ Intramuros
December 24
Candlelight Service
December 25
Christmas reunion @ Calumpit
Today is easy enough - just bring the two stooges to Glorietta 4, buy them Starbucks and popcorn, sit them down in comfortable seats and watch a James Cameron flick for two hours tops. What's going to be hard, I foresee, is the book hunt. I've tried looking for that book in NBS and Powerbooks, but it's out of stock. So far there was only one place where I found it - Amazon. @_@ If all else fails, I'll have to go online and buy it. This is the first time that my lolo requested for a Christmas gift; even Tatay (Mama's side, who died two months ago) never asked for a gift outrightly, which is why I think it deserves special treatment.
Tuesday will be just as busy as today, but at least there some relaxation time when I have my hair done, in preparation for the 23rd to the 25th. Caroling, I think, will be easy since the duets won't be done. There will be food, I'm sure. Bwahahahaha.
Wednesday is very exciting. I'll have a voice lesson with Tita Puring in the afternoon, then in the evening we'll be singing for some government people for their Christmas party at Intramuros! I don't know where exactly in Intramuros, but I'm hoping that it's in Ilustrado. They've got such an awesome place there.
From what I've gathered, we'll be singing the three choir Christmas songs (Payapang Daigdig, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Ukranian Bell Carol), the duets and *drumroll please* the Hallelujah Chorus. OMG the latter made so pumped up. XD I wonder if I'll be doing soprano or alto this time around; inasmuch as I'd like to do alto because of the lower notes, it's likely though that I'll be assigned to soprano cause we're missing two people from there.
Thursday, we have the Candlelight service, where we'll be doing the three choir Christmas songs plus the duets, and a host of other Pinoy Christmas songs that I'll just have to watermelon my way through. (hahaha, cheater)
Friday, oh Friday, the most awaited par-tay of the year. I love reunions. They make me feel good inside.

It's been one month since I got this job, and I'm really enjoying it. It's great to be back in school. Because of the season, there were a couple of masses held during the month which I had no qualms with attending. I even got to read the responsorial psalm - a task which I failed so miserably at. XDDD Ilang taon na akong hindi nagre-responsorial psalm noh!!! Partida!

Na-friend na pala niya ako sa FB. *facepalm* And from what I heard through the grapevine, the whole college faculty already knows that I'm a prospect. And not only that, even my boss knows. I don't know if he has given his blessing, but he seems to be quite amused. XD
