Ahhh, The Green Menace. =D He has served me for three years now, and has never failed thus far. Though I'm thinking of retiring him next year and replace him with a more recent iPod, and name it The Green Menace 2.0, it's not a necessity at the moment. Battery is wearing out though, but it still packs considerable power.
My fifth generation iPod was given as a
surprise gift. I remember telling Papa na I'll be ridiculously happy with an iPod Nano, but he instead gets me and Aldo an iPod Video each come January 2006.
The Green Menace currently has 3,227 songs, 24 videos with 3.0 gigabytes to spare. I've added and deleted lots of content over the course of three years; there was a time when he was full to the brim. I'd like to leave about 10% of its full capacity for cache, so it doesn't go -poof- on me all of a sudden.
While The Green Menace has endured, the earphones don't. Those pink earphones are...probably the sixth that I bought since I owned him.
The only downside to having an iPod in general is that you've got this many songs to choose from, and yet you get the weird feeling that you don't have anything good to play! Then again, that may just be me, you know. XD
