Busy day today. Went out for my 5th voice lesson, then went to church for rehearsals for Joseph the Dreamer (which by the way, they remamed to just "The Dreamer" because they say it's going to be way different than the Trumpets rendition).
Oh, and today the director/s confirmed that I'll be playing Potiphar's Wife. They basically announced the roles of everyone today and distributed the scripts, CDs and whatnot.
Description of Potiphar's wife as per script follows:
Potiphar's Wife, who seduces Joseph and causes him to be thrown into jail. She is presented like a celebrity/supermodel and has the attitude of a diva/drag queen
I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD ROTFLMAO OR CRY CRY CRY.
I think I can do diva, but not supermodel. I can't even walk a straight line!
They're already telling me that Potiphar's Wife's role is crucial because her scene ends Act 1. I've read the script and well, Act 1 does end with a freaking bang. I mean, disco lights, two song and dance numbers, and a bitch front and center. Wazzuuuuuup!?!?!?! *FACEPALMHEADDESK*
They're going to make me sing PCD's Don't Cha aside from her song Mae East, and aside from that I'm going to be flanked by some female servants (my chuwariwaps) for the song and dance *barf* numbers.
I sing. I don't dance. Well I did dance my way to a 4.0 in PEDANCE but that was pure chamba.
Oh, and Aldo's playing Pharaoh. I LMAO'D FOR REAL. He requested for a role (if ever he'll be involved) where he can go topless. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH EPIC FAAAAAILLLL!!!!!! If this actually pushes through I'm so gonna laugh when he comes out nearly topless!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!
Anyway, I bring you pictures!
A burner, but not just any burner. One that can run without a PC and burns three CDs in one go. *DROOL* Kung meron ka nito, EPIC na ang pirata package mo.
Papercut, but for the life of me I don't know how I got it, which is the case for a lot of papercuts anyway.
Oh, this I HAVE to show. Couldn't take another picture of it after, but these are the Clow Sakura Cards from CCS. It's really not my cup of tea - CCS is just too girly and Pokemon-ish. I just watch for Yue's sake BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Heniway, I was looking at the leaflet that came with it and everything was in Chinese, to my dismay. Sayang, if it was in Japanese and the kanji had furigana I could have read and understood a few. The Clow Cards themselves though, had the katakana underneath the English names of the cards.
This newbie girl (who didn't own the cards) kept on insisting that the leaflet is Japanese on the basis that everything in the leaflet is in Chinese characters, and I told her simply no, because there's nothing to suggest that it is Japanese (no hiragana or katakana or even furigana, just pure kanji); plus the fact na nakaka-nosebleed nang tignan yung mga characters doon! My best guess is that the cards were printed outside Japan (probably China). I think she still didn't believe me, cause even with the cards themselves she insisted that everything was Japanese. *facepalm*
Haaay, I think I'm getting to that age where I'm finding it useless to argue with otaku. *LMAO* Sa Shicest na lang ako. At least yun masarap sa mata, at hindi na kailangan ng Chinese or Japanese language proficiency. Nood ka na lang. *ROTFLMAO*

My recital is on July 12, which I think falls on a Sunday. My voice teacher's making me sing Dahil Sa 'Yo (yes, Imelda Marcos's favorite song) and You Raise Me Up. I think I fare well with Dahil Sa 'Yo, but not with the latter. It's just too high and I always think of Josh Groban when I do it. Mweheheheh.
Bahala na si Batman.
