Kang Ta to join the military in the first half of 2008 [2007-09-10]
Singer Kang Ta has cautiously revealed that he will likely enlist in the military during the first half of next year. Appearing on an Arirang TV show on the 17th of last month, he shared that military enlistment is a duty he must fulfill and something every man goes through. Adding that his colleague Moon Hee-jun is almost already done serving in the military, Kang Ta made it clear he is not at all opposed to serving. During this interview, he also revealed that he will soon release great new music and get busier domestically. Source

Korea: Moon Hee-jun Most Awaited Celebrity after Military Discharge
A recent poll shows that Korean singer Moon Hee-jun is the most awaited celebrity to resume his entertaining career after discharge from the military.
The poll, which was conducted by the Internet community Web site DC Inside, showed that of 1,876 respondents 739, or 39.4 percent, chose Moon.
The singer, who once was among the most disliked artists, managed to restore his reputation after a scandal over his military draft dodging by voluntarily joining the military and faithfully fulfilling his army duty.
Moon joined the military in November 2005 and currently is serving as an entertainer private at the Defense Media Agency. He will finish his duty in November. Source
