Two things to note from today:

1. The theme music (both opening and ending) from Galaxy Force has changed. The new ones are, frankly, hideous. BOO!

So, picked the book from Smith's this morning. By the time I got home it was 9.30. I was finished by 1.30.

Needless to say, I enjoyed it a LOT. Random thoughts as and when they pop out of my brain:

Pretty good double fake out in the second chapter and throughout the book regarding whether or not Snape's good or eeeevil. It was nice to see that Dumbledore is fallible. However, part of me's still concerned that JKR'll pull another double whammy out from under us - "Blah blah, had to kill DD to stay alive and maintain cover, blah blah" I hope she doesn't. I like the idea of Harry totally wailing on Snape and killing him in the 7th book. Of course, I do have to wonder if Dumbledore suspected that Snape was up to something though, given his comments regarding DADA teachers not lasting more than one year...

I'm not sure what to make of Slughorn - presumably he'll be sticking around as the head of Slytherin for Book 7, so you have to wonder if we'll be seeing a lot more inter-house camerarderie now that Snape's gone (since, y'know, if the 4 houses uniting is good for DD's side, then it's got to bad for Snape and he'd've been trying to do everything he could to prevent it)

I wonder if we'll be seeing a showdown between Lupin and Mr. Death Eater werewolf man?

Snape as the Half Blood Prince = diabolical geniusness. Did anybody actually guess that?

I'm guessing R.A.B = Regulus Black. Which opens up an interesting can of worms - how did he a) know about the Horcrux and b) find it? And why did he suddenly turn traitor against Voldemort? And if it was Regulus, where did he hide it? My guess is at 12 Grimmauld Place - it looks like Harry'll be going back to his newest acquisition sooner than he'd like. And of course, he'll probably need Kreacher's help to find it...

Luna's commentary was hilarious, as was Crabbe and Goyle being Polyjuiced into little girls.

And that's about all I can think of - other than noting that Alan Rickman is going to kick ass when the movie comes out...

robotic ramblings, insane ramblings
