Well, guess it's been a while since I've posted anything useful. First off, in case any of you are thinking about replacing the coffee in your breakroom with decaf, let me just tell you that there is a special layer of hell reserved just for you. Admittedly, they didn't replace the normal coffee on us, but they did brew a separate pot and not tell anyone it was decaf. Special layer of hell! And not special in a good way!
Anyhow, on a less stupid note, there was an awesome special on brewing on the History Channel last night. The process Dogfish Head uses was especially interesting, where the actually filter the beer through hops. It was really cool to watch. Basically what I'm saying is that I need to start brewing my own beer. Furthermore, someone on the forums introduced me to
Dogsifh Head's Midas Touch Golden Elixir today. It sounds absolutely amazing, or at least really different. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it. The Sam Adams guy did have a good point about Anheuser Busch and the like, saying that to be able to consistently brew a light beer like they do, where imperfections are really noticeable is impressive. That doesn't make it any more drinkable, but it was an interesting thought to consider.
I bought season four of Home Movies today. It has an awesome bonus CD full of songs from the show. 52 songs to be exact. They could easily sell it like a normal soundtrack. It is definitely one of those shows that is a lot better because of the awesome musical numbers.
