Brain. Melting.
I'm going for NaNo on pause.... while I'm at it... here's something, Sarah Shahi will appear in the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson on November 19, 12:30 am. Also, Tony Rose has an interview up with Sarah the day after the November 4 elections. Apparently, the cast and crew were still hard at work during the elections.
Warning! Mild spoilers!

On other news, a poster in TWoP ran into Robin Weigert... apparently, it seems it wasn't just the network but Robin herself who
opted out of Life:
I look at the car next to me and the driver is Robin Weigert! I told her "I love Life!" and it took her a second to realize what i was talking about. She thought I meant I love life (which I do). Then she said that she "got out of there". I told her i was really disappointed when she was not back this year and then when she was in that one episode I got all happy cause I thought she was still on it. She was kind of shocked and was like "You really like it." I said yeah I have a season pass on my tivo and I looked you up on imdb because i thought you were so good. She told me the character had no humor and was flat. Which I guess is kind of true. She said she really liked Damien Lewis.
I'm sad that she thinks her role was flat and humorless since I really, really loved Davis and what RW did to the material she was given. Then again, I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised since in an
interview last year RW expressed how uncomfortable she finds roles that make her unlikeable.
I can't imagine anyone thinking Davis was unlikeable. I loved Davis because she was such a strong, complicated character. I loved her history with Dani and I loved that no matter how much the people on high wanted Charlie out when it comes down to it Davis will go on having screaming matches with Internal Affairs for his sake because Crews was her subordinate.
There was also a blind item by Ausiello about a sophomore show with a cult status that is a nightmare set to work with... actually he said:
"Each actor is crazier than the next," whispers a staffer employed behind the scenes at the war-torn program. "And they all pretty much hate each other."
And they're finding it increasingly difficult to hide their mutual disdain from viewers. Per my snitch, the male lead "cannot stand" his love interest, "and it's obvious by their complete lack of chemistry."
The good news is, the nightmare may soon be over for all concerned. Although the show enjoys a rabid cult following and solid critical support, its ratings are such that a third season is looking very unlikely.
A lot of people thought it was Pushing Daisies which Ausiello quickly dismissed (c'mon guys, really? I haven't seen Pushing Daisies yet - I will!-- but even I know that's a stretch) and Life. Particularly after RW's statement.
Personally, I don't think its Life either. I just can't picture it! The Life cast and crew have a
baseball team! And Damian and Sarah seemed to genuinely like each other also Adam is all excited about working with Sarah and Damian and Logue sometimes spends his weekends with the Lewis family playing soccer!
Also, in the DVD commentary, they really did seem to enjoy each other's company and loved ribbing each other. Particularly Damian. Adam seemed to love working with Sarah and had nothing but good things to say about the cast in an interview.
If I was asked, I'd go with the growing popular opinion that the show in question is Dirty Sexy Money. Haven't seen the show but I've heard Donald Sutherland is really a chore to work with.
Oh, and on another note. Just finished Sports Night... okay, guys, why did no one tell me this show was going to break my heart? I thought this was a comedy but the number of times it broke my heart was unbelievable. Aaron Sorkin, you bastard, how are you so good? I know y'all are about Dan and Casey but for me... it was Dana. Oh, Dana...
