It's not 25 lines because I haven't written near enough that quantity...
1. Dani wasn't blind, she'd turn a blind eye, yeah, but Dani Reese wasn't born yesterday. Especially when it came to something this obvious.
2. It wasn't like she didn't see it coming. As wacky, crazy and strange his antics were between the two of them, Crews had the better service record.
3. Charlie was running his hands on the fruit, smiling and grinning as the sun hit his skin. He was near the pool, pina coladas on the table and two women in bikinis beside him.
4. The city lived. It pulsed in the night. She shouldn't be here, watching the cars pass by, contemplating doing what she knew she shouldn’t be doing.
5. Charlie didn't know how it happened-- well, he did. They were on a stakeout, same old story, chapter and verse. Except he was in the car far longer than he liked and when he closed his eyes he was suddenly not there.
6. Ted didn't know what to make of Charlie's new partner. Except that she was short, annoyed and bossy.
7.Turned to Reese just as soon as news broke, "I did say fruit was important."
8. Charlie was contemplating his drink. He was free. He was not free. He was one with the universe, he was the ever spinning --
9. She dreamed sometimes of fire and gold and singing and death. Of holding a power so great she could change the course of destiny, hold the sun in the palm of her hand and never let go.
10. It started one morning with the insistent beeping staccato of the alarm clock, dragging Rose from dreams of red-gold star fields, running for her life and the familiar feeling of another hand in hers.
11. Right now, at this moment, everything was perfect, sun above her, water splashing and summer in an exotic country. It was the makings of paradise. It’s been three years since she left the D.E.B.S. with a known criminal mastermind with a fetish for diamonds and a bizarre hate on for Australians.
12. The Hikawa Shrine, noted for its peaceful ambience was, that evening, anything but. The shrine was in a riot of party preparations and Rei was in her element bossing people left and right, much to Usagi’s chagrin.
13. Fool boy. She told him to leave, he was stubborn and arrogant.
14. Mal dreams sometimes of the great ships landing in the fields, of the cruel engines sounding above him, of watching in an astonished, half unbelieving state at the cruel damning blow of fate.
Huh. I thought I always started with a conversation but turns out I never did. I tend to like to open to statements and setting the scene. Do you guys see other patterns?

Ooh, Hulu will premiere Chuck and Life a week earlier (September 22) than on TV, damn shame that Hulu only broadcasts to the US. I wonder though, how that will affect the ratings, will NBC consider viewing numbers from Hulu? Also, will the web version of Life retain the original songs the broadcast version is sure to have?
I suppose this is an effort to create buzz around its shows, as opposed to The CW's decision to not give out special screenings to the critics.
