Okay, things I've done in the last week or so.
- Finished up the "probationary" period at work by doing exactly the same job I did prior to the probationary period + better communication with new boss. Lesson learned - steady communication is a good thing (alright, I already knew that, but it's the hard lesson for me to take into my behavior).
- Putty + SSH + ss5 = unrestricted internet at work! Beware network security professionals with time on their hands.
- Discovered one of good friend's phobia's is driving in the snow.
