(no subject)
The television in my bedroom is rarely used. I mean RARELY. Honestly, I only watch Supernatural and True Blood on that tv and that's only when the season is running. We watch all the other shows and have the game systems set up on the living room televisions (3 of them, we're all gamers *shrugs*).
Plus the television is pretty old. Older than my children. If I had to guess I'd say that I bought it around 18 years ago. Still and yet... I can't help but be irritated that today, when I went to check and make sure that Supernatural was still set to record tomorrow, the tv didn't work. The sound works fine but the screen is black except for a thin line of OMGBRIGHT! light that cuts horizontally across the screen. So, I turned it off and then turned it back on. Same thing. I turned it off, unplugged it and left it that way while I got ready. I plugged it back in and turned it on. Still not working.

I probably shouldn't complain since I bought it after saving up in middle school, and $300 for a tv that lasts almost 20 years is actually really good, but its annoying that it chose to break when it did. Looks like I'll be tv shopping this weekend.
