(no subject)
People are really irritating me today.
I'm here at work, in body - not in spirit, and I'm all by myself. So, both lines are ringing and I pick up the first. They ask for Boss and I tell him "Just a moment" and transfer him to Boss' office. (He's not here but still...) Then I grab the other line and deal with him. So the first guy calls back after getting Boss' voicemail and asks for him again. I tell him that he's not here. Then he says, that's all you had to say and hangs up on me.
Boss came in around 9 and a woman called and told me that she was bringing some puppies by. She does purebred mixes (I would think it would be considered a mutt but, whatever) so she brings in two King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mixes (I so loved the little boy one) and one that she called a ‘Morkie', a Maltese/Yorkie mix.
So, my boss is awesome because I was in a really crappy mood and then he lets me play with/hold/love on puppies for 45 minutes. Serious pick me up.
Boss so does not need a puppy. The first puppy he had since I've worked for him, he gave to me. Then the second one, a border collie, he ended up giving to his sister. He travels far too much and he's almost never home.
Also, a pet peeve of mine. If someone tells you that someone else has died, don't ask if they are serious. Especially if that deceased person is one of the people whose name is on the door of the business you just walked into.
Most people don't joke about shit like that and besides, its irritating.
