Your Friday Horoscope, Cristina!
Everything you do today may be visible to the public. It is better to just be an extrovert and go out and smile at the world at large. Since everyone will get to know you, networking opportunities multiply.

My day trying to register for school

This morning Krystal and Kristen showed up at 8 am. We all piled up in my car and drove out to the University of Houston Clear Lake. I filled out all the enrollment information and paid $35 for the application fee. THEN they told me that until I took College Algebra, I couldn't register for classes to get my BS degree. Okay. Well we spent a good hour walking around campus in the heat in the process. Early morning, so it wasn't terribly hot yet.

Well I wasn't about to give up yet and I CAN'T pass Algebra at Lee College. I don't think I know anyone who has either. Something about the teachers, I think.

So I decided since I was in the area, we would go to San Jac College. It's still early so off we go. It's almost 10 am now. We are driving down the road and a tan truck pulls up level to us. Cute guy driving and he's obviously doing that car flirting thing. At that point, he pulls up a bit and then I pull level with him. This goes on for at least 10 miles. In this time, we can hear his stereo system. The bass is thumping pretty decently. So I turn our radio off, we were listening to Eminem and D12, to hear what he was listening to.
...it was soft pop rock
I swear he was listening to Sarah McLauchlan or something. One of the girls said, "He just lost some cool points." Which got us all laughing.

So we get to San Jac and have no idea where we are going. They are following me and I am just following my feet. We do find where we need to go pretty easily though. I find out everything I need to do to enroll and register for classes, or class rather. We left one building and I looked over at Krystal and she had mascara or eyeliner smeared under her eyes. I informed her of this and she freaked out. Freaked out like there was a poisonous snake down her shirt or something. She started saying, "Fix it. Fix it. Seriously, help me. Fix it." I couldn't help myself. I just started laughing. I laughed hard for a long time. I had tears running down my face, along with the sweat. I couldn't breathe and had to sit down. People were staring, Kristen Blonde_Elmoe was trying to fix Krystal's make-up, and I was still laughing. I don't why it struck me quite like that but it felt good.

Before we left we were told to go over to the Math-Science building to see if they could reserve me a spot in the 2nd 8 weeks spot. I am not shy at all and so when I saw a group of three attractive guys walking in the same door we were walking out of I took that opportunity. I was in the middle of telling the girls that I had no idea what building we needed to go to when they walked past. So mid-sentence, I raised my voice a bit and asked, "Excuse me, could you tell me where the Math building is?" They were just chatting with each other but one of them looked at me and they walked about a few steps further away. I waved my arms above my head and repeated myself a bit louder. They gave us directions and I thanked them and apologized.

We went to Gringo's (for Mexican food) afterwards. I had a great time today but I was hot and sweaty all morning. Now I need another shower. Jerry isn't going out with us tonight so it's supposed to be just us girls. May be another post about today later should something fun or eventful happen.

great day
