Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in/curious about - it can be anything from my DVD collection to my favorite pair of shoes. Leave your choice(s) here as a comment, and I will reciprocate by taking the pictures and posting them as an entry. That way you get to know a little bit about my life.

Oh hai guess what. I might look into some work experience as a female animator/illustrator in a studio (college?) up in Brisbane. 8)
My vis art teacher had a flick through my deviant art account (i was asking if my drawings would equate to the "Digital Photo Studio" course in that National Art School thing I'll most likely be going on) and she mentioned that I should look into getting a scholership. Apparently they're in desperate need of female illustrators.
(she also said that if the Art School didn't accept my submissions, then they must be crazy.
and that I should sell for real money)

My dream job would be..... as a conceptual artist. But this could be the next best thing. If I go to this National Art School trip down in Sydney and get high marks then it would look great on a resume....
I.... think things might be slotting into place. I might be getting somewhere...
Maybe I'm thinking to highly of myself. I've been getting a lot of praise lately. The school librarian took a look through my sketch book since I guess she draws too (she was drawn to it because she has the same sketch book xD) and she was saying that I'm a true artist with a fantastic eye for poses and anatomy. I'm not sure how true that is. xD Most of the pose studies in there were reffed from other artworks and stock images, as practice.
At TAFE I was drawing and my Multimedia teacher asked if she could show my sketchbook around. I (sort of) grudginly replied okay. It's not that I don't like attention. I do honestly enjoy it. What's nicer than to have someone saying that you're good? I'm not sure whether I deserve it though. And I don't want to come off as fishing for compliments. :/

Would I really be good enough to become an illustrator? I still have a good few years until I'm ready for that, though - I have time to improve. Luckily I improve fast. I was drawing like this in 2005. This was one of my first digital colourings, done in the middle of 2005. And this is only about half a year later, in 2006.
I'm relying on age to get better. As long as I keep drawing, I'll keep getting better. By the time I'm twenty I want to be..... good.

Also.
I'm getting glasses. 8>
Bahaha, sweet~ I know I should be sad that my eyesight is bad at this age, but I'm more excited than anything.
