I did my Japanese final exam yesterday. Boy, just GETTING there and back was an adventure in of itself. I caught a bus up to the sports club I was assuming it would be held at (since my other exams were there) and, as well as being late because of the stupid bus, I WAS AT THE WRONG PLACE. I was apparently supposed to have it at my old school which, although being very close would still take me 15/20 minutes to walk to. So I got a car lift there with this incredibly nice supervisor - made it on time!
The whole morning I was feeling disgustingly sick from nerves, since my trial Japanese exam had gone dismally and I'd neglected to study much. (I blame you, Professor Layton) But, surprisingly, it went alright! I understood everything (unlike the trial, which had horrendously difficult reading tasks in fluent casual chat-esque Japanese), did the writing tasks easily... I don't know, I guess I just felt more and more confident as time passed, and I think I did well on it.
I was supposed to catch a bus back home (and I live hours walk from my old school), so my actual exam supervisor drove me back to sports centre where it was supposed to stop, but it never came! So she drove me all the way back into town. I have problems with accepting favours from people, but this time I SUPER appreciated it.
Now I just have to do my art theory exam and I'll have finished school. What a scary thought. Then I have the formal/prom, which I'm going to with my ex-boyfriend/friend and it'll be great to hang out with my year one last time before we all scatter. And my ex might be getting me a preowned DS from his friend, which will be magical! ♥♥♥ I feel terrible for hogging his for months on end. <<
For christmas I have my eye on getting Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, so if I get a ds now I'll be able to get the game when December rolls around. While I've finished it already, that was on a rom, and I would really love to experience it sans glitchy graphics.
Speaking of Layton I dug up my old graphics journal, grimcreativity , and posted some Layton icons there. :D
