1. Leave me a comment saying you want to do the meme.
2. I'll respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You should update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You should include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
The questions asked of me were:
1. What are your thoughts on public transportation?
It's OK for going places every once in a while. I prefer to bike, though. Unfortunately, there's road construction on a major road that's taken out the overpass that I could use for biking...
2. If you had a hammer...?
I'd a-hammer in the mo~rning, I'd a-hammer in the evening, all over this la~nd...
OK, just kidding. If I had a hammer, I'd probably end up using it to threaten deadbeat roommates of my friends. Especially if it was a sledgehammer.
3. Robin Williams or Will Ferrel?
I will get back to you once I've seen Dead Poets Society all the way through; I'd like to know how they both do in serious works before making a decision. I must admit that currently my preference tips toward Will, though. It helps that Chad Smith, the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, looks like him.
4. Have you ever injured someone on purpose?
Not knowingly. Injuring people is not my thing.
5. Where is your favorite place that you've ever traveled to?
Hmm... tough one, but I'd have to say Munich. German cities are awesome, and München is one of the more beautiful ones. There's just something about it. Plus, the next time I go there, I'm totally going to the Hofbräuhaus if I can.
And that's the memes out of the way... now the update.
I'm not getting the laptop until after SF. It kinda sucks, true, but at least that way I'll have cash for the trip. Also, in knowledge of this, I used my checkcard to buy books for classes. Purchase books are damned expensive - $286.75 was the damage. I just wish there was a way to do the classes without the books. At least I got in early - get in too late and they might run out of used books. And without used books, I could've easily been paying $300, $350 for that same stack o' books.
Well, see you later.

Quote of the update: "I'm so into you but I'm way too smart for you/Even my henchmen think I'm crazy, I'm not surprised that you agree/If you could find a way to be a little bit less afraid of me/You'd see the voices that control me deep inside my head say I shouldn't kill you yet..." - Jonathan Coulton, Skullcrusher Mountain
