Stuff and Things
Instead of studying and doing homework I have decided to do a blog. Go me!
I have been up to some interesting things lately. School is coming to the end of the semester. I have one more full week left and then finals. My finals should not be too difficult this year, though it may be a bit time consuming for my Business Plans and Project Management classes. I have already signed up for three summer classes because at my current rate I will have too many classes to take senior year. I also signed up for most of my fall classes too. What sucks about these Electrical Engineering classes is that it seems all of the core classes are at the same times on the same days so I can only take one at a time. It kinda pisses me off because I have to get these out of the way to graduate. I hope I graduate on time. I will be pissed if i have to come back for a fifth year just to take one class or something.
Yesterday I also participated in the March of Dimes with Sadie. That was entertaining. Took place on Hines Drive. I never knew it was so close. I was kinda surprised when she invited me to do this 6 mile walk. It was pretty fun. They had this long intro thing talking about sponsors I really didn't care about. I just wanted to start. Sadie found a bunch of her coworkers and we started out walking with them. As the walk progressed some of them took off ahead of us and others lagged behind. They had these little "pit-stops" every mile or so handing out water, snacks, and promotional material. By the time we got to the halfway point Sadie was getting a bit tired. She never walks like that. Not that I do either, but I tend to be a bit more athletic than her. My legs and knees started hurting a bit when we got to the 5th mile marker. When we were finished we both wanted to get off our feet. I was proud of Sadie, not because I didn't think she could do it but because we didn't stop or anything. Hopefully this will kick-start us into walking more this summer. I kinda want to get my legs into shape since I have been slacking since I got a car after senior year. Anyhoo, after we completed the walk we went out for breakfast at Coney Island and headed to my house to sleep for a few hours. I like sleeping next to her <3.
Dan called me up and came over today. Its been a while since I have seen him. Then Sadie called and came over and we headed off to Canton Park. Walked around there for a bit until Sadie's parents interrupted us by asking Sadie to go to the bank. So we did that and went to Wendy's. Sadie spends so much money on me... :(. Came back to my house and shot some basketball for a while. Went back inside and talked about a lot of random stuff. Oddly enough Dan did most of the talking tonight. Sadie was unusually quiet and I didn't have a whole lot to say for some reason. He also looked through my baseball cards and picked out a bunch of ones that are probably worth something. Most of the people I have never heard of so I wouldn't know any better. I took all the ones he said were probably worth something and put them in some plastic sleeves I had. In hindsight I should have just given him all my cards. Not that I ever use or look at them.
In general my life has been pretty good. I have been slacking off at school a bit, but i guess that is nothing unusual. Sadie and me are still going strong :). We have been talking about the future a bit. All of our plans are on hold until I get out of school though. I wish I could graduate faster. I want to get a job and get a place to live. I guess I can wait a little bit longer :/
