i was wondering ( for the record i am against capital punishment, but for a different reason than you are) - what about simple beta-blockade? instead of 20 mg of metoprolol, 500 mg IV should be more than enough? ditto nitroglycerin, no? 4 mg sublingually is one thing, but what if one takes the whole bottle sublingually? should be an easy death, but i am not sure one wants to experiment. might be an easy coma instead.
