Hi there. I still check in from time to time but have largely given up posting because if I try to write anything it always turns into a rant about Brexit. I have never felt so militant!
I'm glad you are happy in Somerset. Mr T and I are longing for the day that we too can retire and relocate - but alas, still have two dependent young adults to support - although daughter completes her post-grad at RADA just before Xmas, and thus, finally aged 25, will cease to be a student. She is busy applying for jobs so fingers crossed. Hopefully both kids will actually be financially independent by the time we reach 66... Alas there's nothing we can do to help the fact that they are already saddled with ever growing (due to the monthly interest added) student debt. It's a scandal.
This year has been tough in so many ways. Yet one could go mad without respite, so to counter the general fury and worry, I continue to enjoy fandom related things, especially the recent revival of Harry Potter. Saw the two part Cursed Child play in London last weekend. Was very happy to be transported back into that familiar world and see so many favourite characters again. However those tickets were bought over a year ago and we've had to tighten belts considerably since then, so sadly no more theatre visits planned at the moment.
Best wishes to you and yours. Long may you enjoy that fabulous sea view.
